January Series: Returning To Softness
February 2-28, 2026To return to softness is to return home to you.
Returning to Softness is a 4-week journey that gently guides you back into your body, your heart, and your feminine rhythm. Through mindful movement, pole flow, and reflective practice, you’ll learn to release tension, dissolve the walls that keep you guarded, and reconnect with the tender, feminine energy that lives within you. In a world that often celebrates doing over being, strength over surrender, and independence over intimacy, softness can begin to feel foreign — even unsafe. Yet softness is the essence of our feminine power. It’s where our sensitivity, intuition, and emotional depth live.
Over four weeks, you’ll be guided to:
• Release stored tension and emotional armor through slow, intuitive movement.
• Explore the balance of strength and ease within every movement.
• Dive deeper into your femininity and learn how to embrace your soft, sensitive side.
By softening your edges, you invite more presence, sensitivity, and receptivity into your life. You begin to listen to your body’s wisdom, move with intention rather than force, and create space for genuine connection — with yourself, with others, and with life itself.
To return to softness is to return home — to the fullness of who you are.

“Learning from Kiana online felt the same as learning from her in person! She gave the same attention to detail and was also able to make corrections live so I could achieve skills safely and with proper technique. Guest instructor appearances really added to the overall experience as I was able to learn so many new things from many different individuals from the comfort of my own home.”

Leanne
Guest Instructor

Kalmn
Guest Instructor
Kalmn, or @belizeanpoler, and she’s been dancing for about seven years. She started at Pole Fitness Academy in Ottawa, moving from student to instructor along the way. Being from the Caribbean, dance has always been a part of her—it’s in her blood!
She fell in love with heels the moment she danced in them! She sees heel work as an extension of the body and a way to play with movements with another apparatus except these are strapped to your feet. Her flow is about feeling the movement through low flow and edge. Finding your connection with the body and the floor through the wiggles.
In Kalmn’s classes, you’ll explore fluidity, control, and musicality while embracing your flow.

Irina
Guest Instructor
Irina @iramoves is a yoga and fitness instructor with 8+ years of teaching experience, and a dedicated pole girlie who loves powerful pole tricks. She began teaching pole simply because she enjoys sharing her passion, strength, and energy with others.
Her classes blend mobility, conditioning, and feminine flow, helping women feel strong, confident, and connected to their bodies.

Week 3: Soften – Soften the walls guarding your heart, lean into vulnerability, and reconnect with the tender, expressive energy of your feminine self. This week is about emotional presence, self-love, and allowing your softness to flow freely.
Week 4: Embody – Integrate the lessons of the previous weeks, exploring softness, surrender, and sensuality with a new pair of eyes.
Classes & Workshops
Week 1 | Root
Opening Circle and Floorwork Freestyle with Kiana
Take 20-30 mins to connect with other community members and set intentions for the month. Then explore intuitive movement on the floor without choreography or expectation. This workshop encourages you to let go of performance and allow your body to guide your expression. Through fluid, grounded, and tender movements, you’ll reconnect with your natural rhythm and soft nature, learning to move from curiosity and presence rather than effort or judgment.
Week 2 | Surrender
Serene Spins with Leanne
Explore the softer side of spinning pole in this class. Learn a selection of spins and find out how to combine your strength and flexibility to exude control and serenity through your movement. Then discover ways to thread them together to create a soft, supple flow. This is an all-levels class so expect upright spins, detailed transitions, and lots of options for everyone.
Edge With Ease with Kalmn
Delve into the subtle tension between control and surrender. Edgework teaches you how to glide and balance over your heels, knowing when to apply pressure and when to lighten. It’s a practice of precision, mindfulness, and soft strength — training your body to maintain engagement and control while remaining fluid. With Kalmn, you’ll learn to use the edges of your heels to create flowy movements, sharp lines, and smooth transitions. This class will focus on precision, control, and balance, teaching you techniques such as pivots, slides, and weight shifts. Perfect for dancers looking to refine their movement and add an extra edge to their routines. All levels welcome.
Week 3 | Soften
Soft and Sensual Flow with Kiana
This low-flow choreography workshop blends soft, fluid movements with depth, guiding you to a deeper connection with your sensual energy. In this workshop, you’ll learn a choreo to the song “I like just how you like me” by SAHXL. Technique-driven cues will support you in moving with intention, helping you peel back the layers that may be blocking your natural feminine flow and step fully into presence, freedom, and self-expression.
Heart Flow with Irina
In this yoga & pole class, you’ll start with a 30 minute gentle yoga class followed by back-bending tricks on the pole! You’ll explore the energy of your heart center through guided movement and breath. You’ll learn to open, soften, and invite more receptivity, compassion, and feminine radiance into your body and life both on and off the pole.
Week 4 | Embody
Static Ebbs, Waves, & Flows with Kiana
In this workshop, you’ll explore fluidity on static pole through rotations and sequences that will teach you how to create wave-like textures, soften edges, and connect shapes into seamless flow—building presence and control while moving with ease and embodiment.
